Alexander Davenport was crossing Camelback on an electric scooter when he was struck by a car

Phoenix, Ariz. – Authorities have released the name of the man killed by a hit-and-run driver Wednesday night near an intersection in Phoenix.
33-year-old Alexander Davenport was involved in a crash at around 10:30 p.m. on April 3 near 26th Street and Camelback Road.
The Phoenix police said a Davenport was crossing Camelback on an electric scooter when he was struck by a car.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and is still at large.
Davenport suffered severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment, where he later died.

Phoenix, AZ – A man riding an electric scooter was hit and killed by a car Wednesday night near an intersection in the Belmont area of east Phoenix, police said.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. on Camelback Road near 36th Street.
Phoenix police said a man was crossing Camelback on an electric scooter when he was struck by a car.
The driver fled the scene after the crash.
The man was transported to a hospital where he later died.
Investigators closed Camelback for several hours as they worked the scene.
