According to the investigators, an eastbound light-colored 2005-07 Chrysler Town and Country minivan on Broadway Road struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road for unknown reasons

Phoenix, Ariz. – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured in a traffic collision Monday night in Phoenix, according to the police.
The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on April 1 on Broadway Road between Rural Road and Dorsey Lane.
According to the investigators, an eastbound light-colored 2005-07 Chrysler Town and Country minivan on Broadway Road struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road for unknown reasons.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries.
The driver fled the scene before the officers arrived.
An investigation is underway.
