Arlington, Wash. – Melisa Delgado Chavez, 29, of Arlington has been identified as a victim killed on Interstate 5 in Arlington Friday morning.
The incident happened at around 5:31 a.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near State Route 531, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Chavez was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Arlington, WA. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday morning near Arlington.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened on the northbound 5 Freeway near State Route 531, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.

Authorities say the pedestrian was killed in the accident.
