Three vehicles collided Friday afternoon in the westbound lanes of the interstate just east of the San Pablo Avenue off-ramp.
Richmond, CA – Authorities are investigating a minor injury accident that happened Friday afternoon in Richmond, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident took place around 4:16 p.m. on the westbound Interstate 80, just east of the San Pablo Avenue off-ramp.
Three vehicles, including a Ford Mustang and a 4-door Honda Civic, were involved in the collision.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped at least one person who sustained minor injuries.
All westbound lanes of I-80 were briefly closed during the rescue and investigation.
