Welchance was struck by a vehicle on the highway for unknown reasons
Woodland Hills, CA. – 18-year-old Julie Welchance of El Cajon was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 101 in Woodland Hills Monday morning.
Authorities said the deadly auto-pedestrian crash happened at around 5:15 a.m. on State Route 101 at Mulholland Drive.
Welchance was pronounced dead at the crash site.
More details about the collision were not provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
