Reportedly, a Mitsubishi sedan, driven by a 19-year-old Merced woman, crossed over into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a Toyota SUV, driven by a 60-year-old Linden woman.

Modesto, CA — Four people, including a 1-year-old girl, were killed following a head-on collision involving four vehicles in the small community of Del Rio, north of Modesto Tuesday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly multi-vehicle crash occurred just after 4 p.m. on McHenry Avenue at Hogue Road.
Reportedly, a Mitsubishi sedan, driven by a 19-year-old Merced woman, crossed over into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a Toyota SUV, driven by a 60-year-old Linden woman.
The 19-year-old woman and her passenger, a 22-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver and a 1-year-old girl who was in her vehicle were rushed to area hospitals where they both died.
After the initial collision, a Ford pickup truck crashed into the Mitsubishi and the SUV. A RAM van also crashed into the Mitsubishi. No one else was injured.
The incident remains under investigation.
