Gila County, Ariz. – Authorities are investigating a wrong-way collision on State Route 87 in Gila County early Monday morning.
The traffic accident happened at around 2:24 a.m. on Highway 87 near the Gila Maricopa County Line.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle was traveling wrong when it collided with another vehicle going in the right direction.
One person was severely injured in the accident.
No more details regarding the collision were provided.
