Los Angeles, CA. – Maria Jarmaillo-Silva has been identified as the woman who died in a car crash that left two other people injured in South Los Angeles on Thursday night.

The deadly collision happened around 9:30 p.m. on Figueroa Street near 58th Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Firefighters who responded to the incident used hydraulic tools to free two trapped victims from the wreckage.

Jarmaillo-Silva, 22, died at the accident scene, according to the Department of Medical Examiner.

A 20-year-old man was critically injured and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

A 5-year-old boy suffered moderate injuries and was also hospitalized.

More details about the accident were not released.
