Sherman Oaks, CA – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Saturday night in Sherman Oaks, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident took place around 9:28 p.m. on the eastbound Highway 101, just west of Van Nuys Boulevard.
Authorities responded to the scene after receiving reports of the collision and found several vehicles blocking traffic lanes.
A silver Toyota Camry had major rear-end damage and a broken axel, and a gray Toyota RAV4 had front-end damage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
CHP officers are investigating the accident.
