Bakersfield, CA. – A 21-year-old woman was killed and multiple hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 65.
The police responded to the wreck at around 5 p.m. on State Route 65, just south of Highway 155.
Reportedly, a Ford lost control for unknown reasons, veered into the opposite lane and broadsided a Toyota before hitting a Honda behind the Toyota.
The woman, who was a passenger in the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Other passengers in the Toyota and the Honda were hospitalized with moderate to severe injuries.
The name of the deceased was not disclosed.

Bakersfield, CA. – Authorities are investigating a deadly head-on collision in Bakersfield Saturday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at around 5 p.m. on State Route 65 just south of Highway 155.
A red van collided head-on with a blue van in unclear circumstances.
One person was killed in the mishap.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
