A southbound Caltrain slammed into a Lexus sedan that was on the train tracks
San Martin, CA. – A driver was hospitalized after a collision involving a Caltrain at an intersection in San Martin Monday evening.
According to the authorities the incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. at Monterey Road and Fitzgerald Avenue.
A southbound Caltrain slammed into a Lexus sedan that was on the train tracks.
The sole occupant in the vehicle suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Caltrain involved had approximately 25 passengers onboard, and no injuries were reported.
