According to CHP, a 42-year-old Oakdale woman was driving a 2010 Subaru Forester eastbound on Highway 120 when she collided with Ferreiro in the roadway
Escalon, CA – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Escalon on Saturday evening has been identified by the San Joaquin County Coroner's Office as 20-year-old Anthony Ferreiro of Escalon.
The accident took place on Highway 120 near Steinegul Road at about 8:39 p.m. April 13.
According to CHP, a 42-year-old Oakdale woman was driving a 2010 Subaru Forester eastbound on Highway 120 when she collided with Ferreiro in the roadway.
Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on Ferreiro but he sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver was unhurt and stayed at the scene of the crash.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
