Two vehicles reportedly collided under unclear circumstances on Williams Field and Recker Roads

Gilbert, AZ. – Authorities have identified 20-year-old Anastasia Dombrowski as the victim killed in a two-vehicle collision near an intersection in Gilbert early Thursday morning.
According to a police report, the incident happened at around 2 a.m. on April 18 near Williams Field and Recker Roads.
Reportedly, 23-year-old Harrison Ward was traveling eastbound on the westbound lanes of Williams Road at a high rate of speed when it collided head-on with a four-door car.
The pickup truck then crashed into a light pole.
Dombrowski was pronounced dead at the crash site.
Ward was taken to a hospital for precaution. He was later booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree murder and DUI.
