A Chevrolet Silverado reportedly ran a stop sign and crashed into a Dodge Ram pulling a trailer

Fresno, CA. – Three people were killed in a traffic vehicle collision that left four other people injured on Friday evening in Fresno.
The fatal collision happened around 7 p.m. on Highway 41 near Floral Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Chevrolet Silverado reportedly ran a stop sign and crashed into a Dodge Ram pulling a trailer.
The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the roadway and into a ditch.
The driver of the Silverado and his two female passengers were killed in the crash.
A third woman in the Silverado was critically injured in the accident and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center.
The 36-year-old driver of the Dodge and his 39-year-old male passenger sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
A 4-year-old boy in the Dodge was also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
