Menlo Park, CA – Two pedestrians were hit and injured by a car Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Menlo Park, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident took place around 3:49 p.m. at 6th Avenue and Middlefield Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two pedestrians were struck by a blue Honda CR-V under unclear circumstances.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and found the two victims with major injuries. The pedestrians were hospitalized in unknown condition.
The intersection was shut down during an investigation.
