At least two vehicles were involved in the collision Sunday evening, including one that knocked over a bus stop.

Los Angeles, CA – At least one person was killed in a traffic collision that happened Sunday evening near an intersection in East Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place around 6:23 p.m. near East 3rd Street and South Mednik Avenue.
The report said a blue Nissan sedan, a white Honda CR-V, and possibly a metro bus, were involved in the accident. The Nissan sedan struck and knocked over a bus stop.
At least one person died in the crash, as per the report.
Authorities said the driver of the Nissan sedan may have been drinking prior to the accident.
Two cars were towed away from the scene for evidence.
Authorities are investigating the collision.
