Wrong-way driving is suspected to have played a role in the crash involving three vehicles

San Marcos, CA – Three people were injured in a collision in San Marcos on Sunday night, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The wreck took place at South Santa Fe Avenue and North Rancho Santa Fe Road at about 8 p.m.
Wrong-way driving is suspected to have played a role in the crash involving three vehicles.
Two adults sustained broken bones. The two were taken to a hospital for treatment.
A child involved in the accident was transported as a precaution.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of the collision.
