A vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing the freeway in unclear circumstances
Burbank, CA. – A 71-year-old man was fatally hit by a car on Interstate 5 in Burbank Sunday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The deadly auto-pedestrian crash was reported at around 1:45 p.m. at the Empire Center located west of 5 Freeway north of Victory Boulevard.

The man, whose name was not disclosed died at the scene.
The driver involved remained at the crash site and cooperated with the officers.
