4 Airlifted after Head-On Collision on Highway 18 and 248th Street Llano

Valley, CA. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury head-on collision on State Route 18 in Llano Sunday afternoon.

According to the police, the collision happened shortly after 4:15 p.m. on and 248th Street.

Reportedly, a white Toyota Tacoma collided head-on with a silver Toyota Corolla in unclear circumstances.

Four people were injured in the crash. Two of them suffered critical injuries and the other two sustained moderate injuries and they were all transported to the hospital for treatment.

A dog was also reported injured in the crash, and Animal Control was called to retrieve the animal.

A SigAlert was issued closing both directions of the highway.

An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
