Fresno, CA. – 23-year-old Miguel Ortiz Montilla was arrested after a hit-and-run collision at an intersection in Fresno early this month.

According to the authorities, the deadly crash happened on April 4 on Chestnut Street just south of Clinton Street.

Montilla was driving his vehicle on the roadway when he struck and killed 38-year-old Bryant Fields of Fresno in unclear circumstances before he fled the scene.

Fields was pronounced dead at the crash site.

Montilla was arrested in less than a week, and released on bond the same day.

Fresno, CA. – A 38-year-old Fresno man was killed in a hit-and-run crash at an intersection in Fresno Thursday morning.

The victim identified as Bryant Fields was involved in a crash on April 4 on Chestnut Street just south of Clinton Street.

A white sedan hit Fields while crossing the intersection for unknown reasons.

Fields was pronounced dead at the crash site.

The driver, who left the scene after the incident, is at large.

More details about the accident were not available.

The crash remains under investigation.
