Lodi, CA – Two people were injured in a collision involving a train west of Lodi on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck took place on Highway 12 near Free Road at about 12:20 p.m. April 24.
CHP said a car failed to stop for the downed crossing arms and collided with a passing train.
Two people in the car were seriously hurt.
One of the patients was flown to a hospital for treatment.
No one on the train reported any injuries.
No further details were released.
The accident is under investigation.
