Valley Center, CA – The man who was killed in a collision in Valley Center on Friday night has been identified as Miguel Angel Zuniga, 19, of Valley Center, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office.
The collision took place at West Tribal Road and Valley Center Road just before 8:30 p.m. on April 19.
CHP said Zuniga, who was driving a Toyota Camry, was trying to make a left turn onto Valley Center Road from West Tribal Road when the Camry was hit by a Ford Expedition traveling south.
Zuniga was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver was arrested and booked into Vista Detention Facility for DUI, among other charges.
The investigation is oncoming.
