San Francisco, CA. – Authorities are investigating a serious injury multi-vehicle collision on State Route 101 in San Francisco Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 1:01 p.m. on the southbound Highway 101 just north of Candlestick Park.
Responding crews located three vehicles in the area, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
At least one person suffered severe injuries in the wreck.
