Police say a man ran a stop sight at the intersection and crashed into a semi-truck

Kings County, CA. – A man was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Wednesday night in Kings County.
The fatal collision happened in the area of 12 and 3/4 and Douglas avenues at around 8 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police say a man ran a stop sight at the intersection and crashed into a semi-truck.
The unidentified man was killed in the accident.
The driver of the semi-truck was unhurt.
More details about the about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
