CHP said two vehicles collided near Weirick Road, and an occupant of one of the cars exited the vehicle and then got hit by a passing car.

Corona, CA. – One person died, and several others were injured in a traffic collision that happened early Saturday morning on a freeway in Corona.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place around 3:22 a.m. on the southbound 15 Freeway near Weirick Road.
At least two vehicles, including a black Toyota Camry and a yellow Hummer, were involved in the crash, blocking traffic lanes. One of the cars was reportedly traveling at a high speed prior to the collision.
A male occupant exited one of the vehicles and got hit by a passing car.
Both collisions left one person dead, and several others injured.
Firefighters responded to the scene and provided medical aid to those injured.
Southbound 15 Freeway was closed near the collision scene. Traffic was diverted off the freeway at Weirick Road.
CHP officers are investigating the crash.
