A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car at Polk and Gettysburg Avenues
Fresno, CA. – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car early Tuesday morning in Fresno.
The accident happened shortly after midnight in the area of Polk and Gettysburg avenues, in front of Teague Elementary School.
The California Highway Patrol says a vehicle struck a pedestrian on the roadway in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
