Phoenix, AZ.– 50-year-old Jose Sanchez Rodriguez was killed in a pedestrian crash early Tuesday morning at an intersection in Phoenix.
The police said the accident was reported at 33rd Street and McDowell Road.
Rodriguez was crossing the intersection when in unclear circumstances he was hit by a vehicle.
Rodriguez was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
More details about the wreck were not available.
An investigation is ongoing.
