Long Beach, CA. – A pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle last month at an intersection in Long Beach died at a hospital two days after the crash, Long Beach police said.
The accident happened around 6:25 p.m. at Fourth Street and Atlantic Avenue.
Police and paramedics responded to the scene on April 22 after they received reports of a pedestrian accident.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, where he died two days later.
Authorities were notified about the death on Wednesday.
The deceased was struck by an SUV that was making a left turn northbound on Atlantic Avenue from East Fourth Street.
The driver stopped and cooperated with investigators.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
