The accident happened Friday afternoon at East Florence and Makee avenues.
Los Angeles County, CA. – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a car Friday afternoon at an intersection in the Florence-Graham area of Los Angeles County.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place around 5:10 p.m. at East Florence Avenue and Makee Avenue.
The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle of unknown make and model under unclear circumstances.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
