Three vehicles were involved in the accident Saturday evening near Jewel Vista Drive.
Coarsegold, CA. – One person died, and at least one other was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Saturday evening in Coarsegold, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision took place around 5:38 p.m. on State Route 41, just south of Jewel Vista Drive.
Three vehicles were involved in the accident.
One person was performing CPR on a victim outside of a car before first responders arrived.
Emergency personnel said one person died in the crash.
At least one female party was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
The vehicles were towed away from the collision site.
Investigators are collecting information to help establish the cause of the accident.
