San Jose, CA. – One person was killed in a collision that happened early Sunday morning in San Jose.
The fatal collision happened on southbound Highway 101 near Mathilda Avenue at around 1:27 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two sedans reportedly collided on the highway in unclear circumstances. The driver of one of the cars exited the vehicle and was struck by a passing vehicle.
Authorities say one person was killed in the accident.
The deceased person was not immediately identified.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
