Three vehicles collided Monday afternoon in the southbound lanes of the highway just south of Chualar Road in Chualar.
Monterey County, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Monday afternoon in Monterey County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident was reported around 5:30 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 near Chualar Road in the Chualar area.
A dark gray Honda Pilot, a pickup truck, and a third car were involved in the crash.
Monterey County sheriff's deputies and firefighters responded to the scene.
One person who complained of pain to the left arm and right leg was transported to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
