Police said Peczynski was driving a silver SUV westbound on Cactus Road when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a car traveling south on 40th Street
Phoenix, AZ – Michael Peczynski, 70, was killed in a crash involving two vehicles in Phoenix on Monday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The wreck took place in the area of 40th Street and Cactus Road at about 5:30 a.m. May 6.
Police said Peczynski was driving a silver SUV westbound on Cactus Road when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with a car traveling south on 40th Street.
Peczynski was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
The second driver was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The Phoenix Police Department is handling the investigation.
