The CHP said a man in his 60s or 70s, was driving a truck in the area when he crashed into the rear of a truck stopped at the intersection

Antelope, CA – One person was killed and another injured in a crash involving three vehicles near Antelope on Tuesday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at Elverta Road and Dominion Way at about 9:30 p.m. on May 7.
The CHP said a man in his 60s or 70s, was driving a truck in the area when he crashed into the rear of a truck stopped at the intersection.
The impact caused the rear-ended truck to hit a third vehicle at the intersection.
CHP said the driver of the first truck was killed in the accident.
The second driver, only identified as a minor, was not hurt.
The operator of the third truck reportedly fled from the scene after the collision but was located and arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and DUI.
The CHP is investigating the collision.
