Willcox, AZ – Two people were injured in a big rig collision in the Willcox area early Wednesday morning, according to the Willcox Fire-Rescue.
The collision took place on I-10 at Milepost 347.
According to the report, a commercial vehicle slammed into the rear of a second, which in turn was pushed into the third commercial vehicle.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was ejected as the vehicles collided.
Two people, who suffered serious injuries, were transported from the area.
One of the patients was subsequently airlifted to another hospital for further medical aid.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
