County, CA. – The coroner's office has identified an 11-year-old girl killed in a multi-vehicle collision on in Madera County Saturday evening.

Amelia Marsh was killed in a car crash at around 5:38 p.m. on May 4 on State Route 41 south of Road 406.

Marsh was pronounced dead at the crash site after three vehicles collided on the highway.

Madera County, CA. – 11-year-old girl was killed and five other victims were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 41 in Madera County Saturday evening.

The incident happened at around 5:38 p.m. on State Route 41 south of Road 406, according to the authorities.

A northbound Yukon on Highway 41 drove off the west side of the roadway when it crashed into a big boulder and crossed directly in front of the Silverado. The Yukon was struck on the right side by the Silverado.

A Buick following the Silverado rear-ended it.

An 11-year-old girl seated in the left rear seat of the Yukon was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other juveniles in the Yukon were rushed to Valley Children's Hospital with moderate to major injuries.

The father and the mother of the deceased were also hospitalized at Community Regional Medical Center. Their condition was unknown.

The Buick's driver was also hospitalized while the Silverado driver was not injured.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
