Freedom, CA. – A 66-year-old Watsonville man was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash on Airport Boulevard in Freedom Wednesday morning.
According to the authorities, the wreck happened at around 4:52 a.m. on Airport Boulevard at Pajaro Lane.
Reportedly, a 72-year-old Aptos man driving a Tesla Model Y east on Airport Boulevard when he struck a pedestrian traveling eastbound on the road.
The male victim suffered severe injuries in the wreck.
The pedestrian was transported to a regional medical center for treatment.
