Mill Creek Rider Dies in Motorcycle Accident on State Route 527 at 192nd Street in Bothell

Bothell, WA. – A Mill Creek male rider suffered injuries after a traffic collision on Highway 527 in Bothell Wednesday evening.

The Washington State Patrol said the incident was reported at around 7 p.m. on May 8 on State Route 527 at 192nd Street.

Investigators said a 24-year-old Bothell woman was driving an eastbound Nissan Versa on 192nd Street when it turned on northbound Highway 527 and collided with a southbound Yamah YZF-R1 motorcycle.

The male rider was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. The police said she was not impaired at the time of the accident.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

The cause of the mishap is under investigation.
