A motorcycle collided with a Ford Ranger Thursday evening, forcing the closure of Washington Street between Benton Road and Auld Road.
Winchester, CA. – One person died in a motorcycle accident that happened Thursday evening near an intersection in Winchester, the California Highway Patrol said.
The wreck took place around 6:23 p.m. near Washington Street and Benton Road.
A motorcycle and a Ford Ranger were involved in the accident.
First responders found the motorcycle in the middle of the roadway, and the pickup truck with major front-end damage.
The report said one person was killed in the collision.
Investigators closed Washington Street between Benton and Auld roads in both directions following the crash.
