According to police, Holland was riding an electric bicycle west on the southside of the intersection on a red light when she slammed into the side of a car traveling south on Highway 273

Redding, CA – Victoria Holland, 19, was injured in a bicycle crash involving a car in Redding on Thursday morning, the Redding Police Department said.
The incident happened on Highway 273 and Cedars Road just before 8:29 a.m.
According to police, Holland was riding an electric bicycle west on the southside of the intersection on a red light when she slammed into the side of a car traveling south on Highway 273.
Holland, who was ejected from her bike, was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the car, Denise Johnson, 64, was unhurt and remained at the scene of the accident.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
