The CHP said a golf cart collided with a vehicle at an intersection at the private country club community at Mojave Sage Street and Bonanza Drive
Palm Desert, CA – Sam Karagavoorian, 80, of Palm Desert, was killed in a collision involving a golf cart at Sun City Palm Desert on Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place at Mojave Sage Street and Bonanza Drive at about 2:30 p.m. April 9.
The CHP said a golf cart collided with a vehicle at an intersection at the private country club community.
Karagavoorian was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after.
There were no further details on the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
