Bakersfield, CA. – One person was severely injured in a multi-vehicle collision that happened on Friday afternoon in Shafter.
The 2:30 p.m. collision happened on Highway 99 near Lerdo Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A red sedan reportedly crashed into the center divider and overturned, causing a multi-vehicle collision involving at least four other cars.
One person suffered major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
