Neal was riding his 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on New Navy Base Road when he crashed into a 2019 Dodge SUV

Humboldt County, CA. – 37-year-old Travis Neal, of Eureka, has been identified as the motorcyclist who died in a collision last month in Eureka.
The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on New Navy Base Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Neal was riding his 2011 Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on New Navy Base Road when he crashed into a 2019 Dodge SUV driven by 42-year-old Aaron Tullyland.
The SUV had reportedly slowed down to maneuver into a sand and gravel parking area when it was struck.
Neal was ejected from the bike and he crashed into the back of a parked 2022 Subaru Impreza in the gravel lot.
Neal was killed in the accident.
Tullyland and a passenger in his vehicle were hospitalized with minor injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
