Monterey, CA. – Authorities are investigating a deadly two-vehicle collision on State Route 68 in Monterey Friday afternoon.
According to the CHP, the incident happened at around 4:44 p.m. on Highway 68 near Spreckles Boulevard.
Reports indicated that a grey Ford collided with a white Toyota 4Runner in unclear circumstances. The impact caused of of the vehicles to overturn.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was upheld pending notification of the next of kin.
