The accident was reported around 9 p.m. at 87th Street and McDowell Road.
Authorities said the pedestrian was hit by a car, sustaining life-threatening injuries.
The pedestrian died about an hour later while receiving treatment at a hospital.
The driver involved stopped and cooperated with investigators.
Authorities closed eastbound McDowell Road at 87th Street for several hours following the accident.
