A vehicle hit a bicycle ridden by Piette in unclear circumstances, before leaving the scene

Victorville, CA. – 56-year-old Paul Piette was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash at an intersection in Victorville Friday night.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 8:19 p.m. on May 10 at Mariposa and Nisqualli Roads.
A vehicle hit a bicycle ridden by Piette in unclear circumstances, before leaving the scene.
Piette suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
His small black/brown with a white chest dog was taken to an Animal Unit.
