San Jose, CA. – One person was injured in a multi-car pileup that took place Monday afternoon on a freeway in San Jose.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident was reported around 5:18 p.m. on the southbound Interstate 880, just north of the Montague Expressway off-ramp.
Four vehicles, including a white GMC SUV and a gray Chevrolet Traverse, were involved in the accident.
The crash resulted in minor injuries. An occupant in the GMC complained of chest pain.
The GMC was towed away with moderate front-end and rear-end damage.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
