West Sacramento, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle pileup involving a motorcycle that happened Tuesday morning in West Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident was reported around 9:50 a.m. on westbound Highway 50, just east of the 80 Freeway.
A black Kia, a white Ford Fiesta, a maroon Honda Pilot, a black SUV, and a motorcycle were involved in the collision.
Yolo County firefighters responded to the scene after receiving reports of the collision and blocked the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
The firefighters transported one person to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The motorcycle was towed away from the collision.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
