Marana, AZ – A motorcycle rider was injured in a crash that took place in the Marana area on Thursday, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
The accident took place near Cortaro Farms and Thornydale roads.
A motorcyclist reportedly collided with a PCSD patrol vehicle in the area.
The rider was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The PCSD employee was reportedly ticketed for failure to yield.
The accident is under investigation.
