, AZ. – 27-year-old Ansar Azim has been identified as a motorcyclist killed in a collision at 22nd Street in Phoenix.

The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. at 22nd Street and Indian School Road.

Azim was rushed to the hospital, where he later died.

Phoenix, AZ. – A motorcycle rider was killed in a traffic collision at 22nd Street in Phoenix early Saturday morning.

According to the police, the crash happened at around 12:30 a.m. at 22nd Street and Indian School Road.

Authorities said the other vehicle, a Jeep, appeared to be making a left turn from 22nd Street to go east on Indian School Road when he failed to yield to the right of way and was hit on the side by a westbound motorcyclist on Indian School Road.

The rider was rushed to a nearby hospital, where they died.

The driver of the car involved, only identified as a 53-year-old man, remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.

Impairment was not believed to have caused the wreck.
